Part two: Cosmetic
Porcelain veneers in Tacoma
Thin porcelain shells bonded to the front of your teeth, to change their shade, shape or length. Designed with you, tried in before anything is final.

Who this is for
- Teeth that are chipped, worn short or uneven
- Stains that whitening has not shifted
- Small gaps you would like closed
- A smile you would like to see in a photo without thinking about it
What happens, step by step
- Consultation: photographs and a conversation about what you would like to change, and what you want to keep
- A trial smile: a temporary mock-up on your own teeth so you can see the shape before we prepare anything
- Preparation visit, with temporary veneers
- Final veneers made in our lab, tried in, then bonded
How long it takes
Usually two to three visits over a few weeks, depending on how many teeth and whether we start with whitening.
What changes the price
- How many teeth
- Porcelain or composite
- Whether gums need reshaping for an even line
- Whitening the teeth that are not being veneered
Every price is on your written plan before you decide. Cost, insurance and monthly payments
What people ask
Will they look natural?
That is the point of the trial smile. You see the shape and length on your own face before we make anything, and you can change your mind.
Do you have to file my teeth down?
A thin layer of enamel is usually removed so the veneer sits flush. In some cases little or none is needed. We tell you which applies to you before you decide.
General information, not advice for your own mouth. Individual results vary.
