Part one: Implants
Full-arch dental implants in Tacoma
For people who have lost most of their teeth, or whose dentures slip. A fixed set of teeth held on a small number of implants, that you do not take out at night.

Who this is for
- Dentures that move when you eat, laugh or talk
- Most of your teeth loose, broken or failing at once
- Years of avoiding certain foods, photographs or restaurants
- A denture you already have that you would like held in place with implants instead
What happens, step by step
- Consultation, 3D scan and a long conversation about how you eat and what you want
- Written plan with every price, and a second visit if you want to bring family
- Treatment day: implants placed and, in many cases, temporary fixed teeth fitted the same day (see Chapter three)
- Healing months on the temporary teeth, with check-ins
- Final teeth made in our lab, tried in, adjusted, fitted
How long it takes
Treatment day is one long morning and early afternoon. The final teeth usually follow a few months later, once the implants have settled. Not every case suits same-day teeth; your 3D scan decides that, and we tell you before you commit.
What changes the price
- How many implants your jaw needs (often four to six per arch)
- Whether teeth need taking out first
- Bone grafting, if the scan shows it is needed
- The material of the final teeth (acrylic or zirconia)
- One arch or both
- Sedation
Every price is on your written plan before you decide. Cost, insurance and monthly payments
What people ask
Is there an age limit?
No set limit. What matters is your general health and the bone the scan shows. People in their sixties, seventies and older have implants placed every day.
Will I be without teeth at any point?
We plan so you are not. In most cases you leave on treatment day with temporary fixed teeth; where that is not possible, we make sure you have a denture to wear while you heal.
How long do they last?
That depends on your health, how you care for them and coming to check-ups. Implants are built to last a long time, but nobody can promise a number of years, and we will not.
